PURPOSE ( founded in 1974)
To preserve and promote the ideals and purposes of the Orchard Lake Schools and Centers.
THE AMBASSADORS PERMANENT ENDOWMENT FUND
All donations to the Ambassadors Permanent Endowment Fund are designed to provide the future of the Orchard Lake Schools and Centers. The principal is untouched; only the interest from it may be used to provide the schools and centers a definite and ever-increasing annual income. As the fund grows, so will the income.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
Any person, organization, business, or parish can become an Ambassador of Orchard Lake by donating One Thousand Dollars to the Ambassadors Permanent Endowment Fund.
PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP
Anyone who so desires may present the Orchard Lake Schools a one-time Ten Thousand Dollar gift to be invested by the Schools in a manner that will produce an annual income of One Thousand Dollars. The income will cover the annual gift for membership, and will guarantee perpetual membership for the Ambassador.
CORPORATE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
Any Public, Private, P.C., or Partnership can become a Corporate Ambassador by donating Five Thousand Dollars to the Ambassadors Permanent Endowment Fund.
CORPORATE PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP
Any Public, Private, P.C., or Partnership may present the Orchard Lake Schools a one-time gift of Fifty Thousand Dollars. The income will cover the annual gift for membership and allows ten representatives to attend the recognition Ball annually.
The Orchard Lake Ambassador, espousing the cause of the Orchard Lake Schools and Centers and contributing generously to their financial well-being, should be recognized in fitting fashion.
THE PRIVILEGES OF THE AMBASSADORS ARE . . .
THE AMBASSADORS BALL - an annual ball for the Ambassador and a companion, an evening to savor as the guest of the Orchard Lake Schools and Centers. Recognition includes a specially designed, be-ribboned medallion: "The Order of Ambassador of Orchard Lake," a pin and a charm.
CREDENTIALS OF APPOINTMENT - a handsome, engraved walnut plaque designating one as an Ambassador of Orchard Lake with years of membership annually appended. A permanent plaque with names of Ambassadors for each year is displayed prominently on campus.
ANNUAL ROSTER - an Honor Roll of Ambassadors is published annually indicating years of membership with appropriate designations for "Charter Ambassadors."
RESPONSIBILITY AS AN AMBASSADOR - as much or as little as one wishes. The Ambassadors Cabinet handles administrative details for the annual ball and for the recruitment of new members. Members may suggest, recommend and submit ideas as time and inclination permit.
